Daydreaming of you Venezia

Laughter is the key to happiness, so they say! This time in Venice the kids had a ball - making it one of their favorite experiences in Italy! As we took our boat ride to get to our destination the scenery was just marvelous! There are no roads and cars - it boat and gondola galore! Without a doubt, one of my favorite places in the world!

One of my husband’s favorite memories as a child was running around in San Marco square chasing after the pigeons and he wanted the kids to experience it too! We walked over to the front of the cathedral and there were massive groups of pigeons and of course you have to see the videos to see and hear Bella and Chloe's laughters of joy! Even Mel who is thirteen looked over to me and said "this is the best ever, mom." Imagine just standing there and opening your arms, the pigeons just directly fly into your arms! It was so much fun!!!! Later in the afternoon we strolled, shopped and we booked a family gondola ride right before sunset! As we rode through the grand canals the scenery was right out of a painting! Beautiful beyond words - Venice is definitely one of the majestic places that exist.
